Deep Thermodynamic Simulation

Unlike standard Roblox experiences, Kallskär models real-world liquid sodium cooling. Players must manage core temperatures up to 550°C at near-atmospheric pressure.

This thermal energy is converted into electricity via twin 500 MWe turbines. The simulation accurately tracks thermal efficiency, requiring players to balance reactor output with cooling demands to maintain a stable 42% efficiency rating.

Physics-Based Safety Mechanics

Safety in Kallskär is driven by physics, not scripts. The reactor features a massive 1,250-tonne pool of primary sodium. In the event of a total station blackout, the plant does not require external AC power to survive.

Players rely on the Direct Reactor Auxiliary Cooling System (DRACS). Watch as natural convection takes over, safely dissipating decay heat to the atmosphere without the need for active pumps or player intervention.

Interactive Grid Management

Powering the SE2 zone requires more than just turning on the reactor. Players must engage in deep load-following, balancing base-load power with dynamic in-game grid demands.

Our automated control systems simulate real-world Frequency Containment Reserves (FCR). Players must respond to grid frequency drops within seconds, actively stabilizing the regional network during sudden demand spikes.

FCR-N Integration

Continuous proportional response across 49.9–50.1 Hz. Capable of shifting 63% of reserved capacity within 60 seconds.

FCR-D Disturbance Response

Rapid power injection as frequency falls below 49.9 Hz. 50% capacity deployment in 5 seconds; 100% within 30 seconds.
